Left Hand Balance Aid--the Pinkieport/Pinkie Dock (tentatively named)

Michel Debost's idea (the red line indicates the possible cutaway line in case the G kicker/tail is in the way); it is intended for flutes with in-line G only.

The left pinkie, when not in use, can rest on the Pinkieport/Pinkie Dock to increase the stability.
If used for the index finger, it can be clipped onto the flute either way. For flutes with the C# trill, only the bottom configuration will work. It may involve some cutting to avoid clashing with mechanism. The Pinkieport should sit where the player can feel the large flat surface against the first finger.
